We offer digital X-rays at our dental clinic at St. Clair and Dufferin. They use far less radiation than the previous chemical-based system. Because there are no chemicals involved, it is also much safer for the environment.
Dr. Gary Klein has two different digital X-ray technologies offered; sensor-based and phosphor plate-based technologies. We are able to better accommodate patients, who tend to gag, as well those patients who find x-ray taking difficult or patients with smaller mouths.
Utilizing these systems, there are a number of software tools that will allow Dr. Klein to take a very close look at the teeth as well as the surrounding anatomy with amazing accuracy.
