We can eliminate periodontal disease by using several methods that range from conservative approaches such as deep cleanings to more involved treatment such as periodontal surgery. We cater our treatment plan to the severity of your condition.
Another aspect of our care has to do with pre-orthodontic or pre-prosthetic procedures. Many times your general dentist or orthodontist require gum trimming, sculpting or gum positioning procedures before they can treat you. Our practise is multi-disciplinary which is an invaluable approach to comprehensive patient care.
Sculpting the gums and at times trimming them helps to improve the smile and corrects any irregular gum lines. We also treat recession and thin gums with gum grafting procedures. Not only does this correct problems of recession but improves the smile as well. In cases of missing teeth, we can replace these with dental implants. Sometimes we have to do some bone or gum grafting prior to the placement of the dental implants.
We also help patients who are suffering from mouth sores, lesions of the gums, and/or oral tissues. We can diagnose these problems and treat them with rinses or medications.
